A Morning of Photography and Friendship in La Jolla

Early mornings have a magic all their own, and our recent photo walk south of the Children’s Pool in La Jolla captured it perfectly. A group of photographers gathered together—not just to make images, but to enjoy the camaraderie that comes with shared passion.

As the sun slowly lit up the coastline, cameras clicked, laughter carried across the rocks, and everyone found their own perspective of the same scene. Some focused on the dramatic waves, others on seabirds perched in the quiet morning air, and a few sought out the textures of tide pools and sea cliffs.

It wasn’t about competition or perfection—it was about fun, creativity, and stepping into something different together. These photo walks remind us why we fell in love with photography in the first place: the joy of seeing the world with fresh eyes, and the friendships formed along the way.
